Evan and Caroline didn’t want a big production. They wanted something slow and different, something that felt like them. So they chose to say their vows out in the Texas countryside, surrounded by soft hills, golden light, and their sweet dog.

It was intentional and truly them. Caroline crocheted a bouquet wrap for her flowers, her lace dress blew with the wind perfectly all night. There was no pressure, no timeline rush. Just connection and joy. These are the elopements I love the most.

When the sun had finally set, they ended their night with a quiet campfire under the stars, just the two of them, tucked into the stillness, letting it all sink in. It was the perfect close to a perfect day.

This is why I love photographing elopements, especially in the Austin and Hill Country area. Theres a never ending amount of beautiful places nearby to elope or have a micro wedding of your dreams. You don't need to limit yourself to a huge wedding if thats not what you want - what you do need is space to breathe, freedom to be yourselves, and someone behind the camera who sees what matters to you most and can document it truthfully to your story.
